Pre-Marital Counseling gives couples the tools, clarity, and confidence to build a healthy foundation for a lifelong relationship.

At Pat Ward Counseling, I help engaged couples strengthen their connection, explore important topics before walking down the aisle, and prepare for both the joys and challenges of marriage.

Why Pre-Marital Counseling Matters

Many couples enter marriage without ever addressing some of the most important issues they’ll face together. Counseling provides a safe space to explore questions like:

• How will we handle conflict when it arises?
• What do we expect around finances, parenting, and family roles?
• How can we support one another in times of stress?
• What boundaries do we need to set with extended family and friends?
• How do we grow in emotional, spiritual, and sexual intimacy?

A Course-Style Format

I offer Pre-Marital Counseling in a course-style format, which guides couples step by step through the key areas every marriage needs to address. This format provides structure while leaving room for each couple’s unique story and needs.

This course is a 6-week experience that includes 3 live sessions with Pat, a book full of helpful insights, and an online assessment highlighting your specific strengths and growth areas.

For couples who prefer a lighter approach, I also offer a la carte sessions, where we focus on specific issues or conflicts you want to address before marriage.

The course cost includes my regular appoitment fee for the lives sessions, plus $50 for the assessment and book.
